I found an interesting article on the web today about an idea that just may work in the advetising and syndication business.
Jeff Jarvis of the Buzz Machine shares his idea of solving problem of newspaper sales declining.
He proposes that that large magazines/entertainment outlooks and newspapers hook up and conquer the media as one force. He says that they could trade readers of one to the other for percents of revenue of advertisements from the other.
For example, the Times and the Tribune could would together, the Tribune could give the Times all sorts if information attracting readers and in exchange the Times would give the Tribune and percentage of the advertisement costs.
All is all I believe this is not a bad idea and could possibly work. I would love to see this plan put into action and to follow up on it.

Sounds like an interesting idea. I'm a little skeptical, but it is definitely a topic to continue to watch how it unfolds.
This idea of magazines and newspapers merging together sounds like a good idea. It could solve the decline of sales, but who gets the profits at the end.
This news is something to keep track of.
Well Gordon I agree with you that this is a good and interesting idea. I personally don't understand why people aren't buying magazines and newspapers. I real a lot of magazines (I subscribe to 10) and I love the entire act of getting the magazine and reading it not just clicking on the computer.
