Jeff Jarvis of Buzz machine does it again, another interesting thought of Obama and political campaign.
Well all know this coming up election could very well be historic with Obama running and having a chance at becoming the first black president ever.
But now some other interesting news has come up. Apparently Obama says that if his oppenent, Clinton, or McCain comes at him in a debate from a unique point he will perhaps consult his staff and change views to counter act.
I dont know if this is true or not but the speculation of it is pretty big! A person running for office should stick to thier view from day one and no matter what the situation demands.
Do you think this will actually become headline news and the "talk" of the political world for a while or just drift way as a fallacy?

News Outlets together as one???
I found an interesting article on the web today about an idea that just may work in the advetising and syndication business.
Jeff Jarvis of the Buzz Machine shares his idea of solving problem of newspaper sales declining.
He proposes that that large magazines/entertainment outlooks and newspapers hook up and conquer the media as one force. He says that they could trade readers of one to the other for percents of revenue of advertisements from the other.
For example, the Times and the Tribune could would together, the Tribune could give the Times all sorts if information attracting readers and in exchange the Times would give the Tribune and percentage of the advertisement costs.
All is all I believe this is not a bad idea and could possibly work. I would love to see this plan put into action and to follow up on it.

you said it...you tube!
Youtube is now in the news once again. I know they've been in for good and bad news but this time, I believe its for the good kind.
Apparently, it has been discovered that several large newpapers such as the St. Pete Times have been using youtube to promote thier papers and for advertisments
They have seen how popular the website has come and we all have seen the facts showing that newspapers are dropping and dropping hard on the list of top media outlets. They've put 2 and 2 together and realized that they should get in with what is popular for help them
I for one think this is not such a bad idea. I completly believe people, even young, should be reading newspapers more than they actually are. Theres only good that can come out of this. And what better place to go then the ever so popular billion dollar valued youtube!
My question to you do you agree and think this will actually work? Or is it waste of time and advertising money that newspapers don't have that much to spend?

Are debates really debates anymore???
As always, Clinton and Obama are in the political news again with thier debate coverage, however for this time it is for another reason.
the NY TIMES reports that during the CNN coverage of the democratic debate thursday night at t he Kodak Theater in L.A. serveral CNN control room personel stepped out back during the debate because it was not that interesting at times.
"She didn’t answer the question at all,” said David Bohrman, the Washington bureau chief for CNN, sighing deeply as Mrs. Clinton discussed immigration.
The show was promoted throughout the week as "fight night" considering all the bashes both presidential candidates took on each other, it seemed to be a good title. BUT after watching the debate, many people including my self did not think the show did not live up to its name.
I believe that today's candidates, in all parties, sometimes dont even care about all the issues. Its all about publicity, its all about politics. I know I am biased towards to political party but still, in every party, they spend to much time and even more money bashing each other than actually standing up for what is right.
Do you think that this habbit will eventually corrupt the political election process? Probably not now but if nothing is changed and the candidates have the same outlook approach then yes, sometime down the road our children's children will definitly know the bad stuff about each of the candidates running. But will they know what they stand for, thier beliefs and most critical, how they plan to run our country?
