Another round of Iraq chaos?

The first words grabbed my attention also. "Iraq passes bill to allow former staff members of Hussein's staff to run for election."

I was stunned to say the least and really confirmed by belief that chaos and Iraq are a perfect match.

After reading an article in the New York Times today, I strongly support my opinion. In this article it said that The Iraq goverment passed and signed a bill stating that some of Saddam Hussein's administration could, if voted, be allowed to join today's Iraq government.

I know I live in America and dont know too much about Iraq and the war, but just off the top of my head, that move doesnt seem like one that's going to get you pass "go" and to collect $200 dollars.

I must say that the way that you worded your piece was great. I compltely agree with you. I do not know to much about all that is going on over in Iraq but, that can't possibly be a smart move. I definately do not think that it will allow a pass go and collect $200. Sometime it makes me wonder what are they thinking!

I got to say that this piece is fascinating. I strongly agree with your point of view. It is like they want to put another Saddam Husseim in control on Iraq again. It makes me wonder if they want history to repeat itself.

I think this is very shocking and informative at the same time. I agree with what your saying, I don't think that its a good idea. I read most of the article. I do not like that if Hussein's party moved in that it would put 7,000 active Ministry employees into retirement. Good piece it's always good to be aware of what is going on in Iraq.

With all of the problems going on in the world right now, especially between America and Iraq, I believe that this is pertinent information to know. How smart that is on their part is another question entirely! It just doesn't seem that wise to pretty much set the stage to be stuck in the same viscious cycle again.

Wait a minute! There is no way that we all can be reading this article correctly! I cannot believe that this is happening. I personally believe that this is nothing but a slap in the face from the Iraqi people. It is as if they are forgeting what the past used to be like. Democracy can be a tricky subject, and if not handled correctly, a country can fall right back into the hands of dictatorship.I guess the only thing we can do is sit back, munch on popcorn, and hope these same officials do not get a second chance.
